WESTSIDE PENTHOUSE PROJECT
Foyer and hallway
In this beautiful Westside penthouse the idea was to transform a long corridor into an exiting experience. To do that the main wall was covered with wood panels to that cover the bathroom door as if there was not there. The door opens when pushing one of the panels. Using a panel glass sliding door to discover the media living room we were able to create a balance between solid and light. The wood floor was the element that holds the project together in one same warm feeling.

Kitchen
The main idea was to create a more lit, warm but mainly practical kitchen as the heart of the apartment. With the same idea of “hidden mechanism” the island in the center has hidden compartment to store stools for the breakfast table. The color scheme chosen was based on a monochromatic look to enhance the elegance of the apartment.

Bathroom
The juxtaposition of a light color in the back and a darker color in the front helped to make the bathroom bigger. An elegant custom made dark wood cabinet was the centerpiece of the room.
